FRANCESCA ALFAJORA

An aspiring Design Futurist with a mission of using experiential futures, systems design, and human agency to create or transform the narrative.

After achieving my Bachelor's of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley, my professional career spanned the Experience Design spectrum of designing built environments at architectural firms like FORGE to digital apps at tech startups like Pillow. 

Currently, I am pursuing an MBA in Design Strategy at the California College of the Arts to develop my knowledge and skills in organizational and systems-level design. I am most interested in tackling systemic issues in climate change, education, income inequality, disenfranchisement, and other forms of social injustices to expand our opportunities at achieving sustainable and equitable futures.

In my spare time, you'll either find me mentoring high school students in design, singing in my remarkable choir, or training for my next Alcatraz swim.
