Futures Artifact and Scenario - “My Genes, My Choice”
Designed an "artifact" from a 2033 scenario, where despite strongly enforced regulations, UC Berkeley students run an underground CRISPR market of modifying their own genes to increase the production of neurotransmitters to regions of their brains. Students hope to cope with increasingly rapid innovation, societal expectations, grading curves, and competing with artificial intelligence. The artifact aims to be a strategic conversation starter about larger topics of student mental health, abuse of technology, potentially altering evolution, ethics, and futures.
Skills: Environmental Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis, Alternative Futures Scenarios, User Research, Design, Workshop Planning
Foresight Workshop for City of Berkeley 2033
Designed a workshop facilitation plan around the CRISPR futures artifact and foresight of the city of Berkeley in 2033.
Skills: Workshop Planning and Proposal Writing
SF Culture as Curriculum Program for Vision 2025
Designed the pilot study for a program that will provide SFUSD teachers free access to museums and other cultural institutions. The program aims to help the San Francisco Unified School District meet their Vision 2025 goals.
Skills: Market Sizing, System Mapping, Impact Analysis, Strategic Planning
Data
Analyzing a dataset about student academic performance and using a linear regression model to be able to predict the probability of student performance outcomes based on several numerical and categorical variables.
Skills: R Studio, Data Analysis
